The HotHatch is designed to meet the needs of local entrepreneurs (students, graduates and local start-ups) who are at the beginnings of setting up their new business, providing them with a professional, stimulating and supportive work environment to develop their business.The HotHatch aims to:
- Identify, encourage and support the creation and needs of new enterprise
- Help improve the chances of survival of newly established SMEs
- Encourage business start-ups and business survival from groups and communities who are less likely to become entrepreneurs.
Facilities and Support Services
Licensees of HotHatch will benefit from a full range of integrated support facilities and services including:
- An innovative open-plan physical location
- Access to professional on-site advice and counselling
- Access to on-site training programmes, conferences and seminars
- Access to mentoring
- Access to Knowledge Dock's high-tech facilities
- Membership of the Knowledge Dock's Business Directory and Networking Club
- Access to the University of East London’s centres of expertise
- On-site café’s and restaurant facilities.
HotHatch Rates
Licensees of the HotHatch will receive:
- Up to 51 hours hotdesking time with access to a workstation
- Connection to a modern digital telecommunications system - all telephone calls and additional lines are at an extra cost
- Free connection to the Internet - usage is invoiced monthly in advance by standing order
- Access to a meeting room – 3 hours per month
- On-site parking (annual fee)
- Secure 24/7 access via swipe card entry as well as security including CCTV.
Other facilities/services available on a “pay as you go” basis include:
- Discounted conference and meeting room facilities
- Administrative support including reception services
- Photocopying
- Document printing
- Facsimile
- Office stationery
- Courier services
- Postal room services.
