Students from the University of East London (UEL), with the support of Knowledge Dock, UEL's enterprise development service, were awarded 2nd place in the Xing Enterprise Competition, which took place at Goldsmiths, University of London, on 18 November.

Knowledge Dock, the University of East London's (UEL) enterprise development service, launched its flagship 'E-Factor' Business Plan competition on Wednesday 19th November, from 1.00pm - 5.00pm, at the Knowledge Dock Business Centre. E-Factor is an annual event, which offers enterprising students from UEL the opportunity to win a £10,000 business start-up grant to transform their business concept into a fully operational company.

Knowledge Dock, the University of East London's enterprise development service, has received a Certificate of Excellence (awarded by the Department of Trade and Industry) for it's role in facilitating the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Rawell Environment Ltd.

A former University of East London (UEL) student has won £10,000 to start up her own company after pitching her business idea at the E-Factor Grand Finale on Wednesday 14th May at the Knowledge Dock Business Centre (the University of East London's Enterprise Development Service).
