A former University of East London (UEL) student has won £10,000 to start up her own company after pitching her business idea at the E-Factor Grand Finale on Wednesday 14th May at the Knowledge Dock Business Centre (the University of East London's Enterprise Development Service).

Levi Roots, the charismatic entrepreneur of 'Reggae Reggae Sauce,'who secured investment for his product whilst pitching to the BBC's Dragons Den, spoke at the 'Hotnet'launch event on 28th April in the Barking Broadway Theatre, to support fresh entrepreneurs in Barking and Dagenham.
