How To Enter


 

Stage 1 – Idea Generation
Think of a business idea and attend the free ‘Enterprise Factor’ seminars to explore and develop your idea.

Stage 2 – Apply
Take the first step towards winning the Enterprise Factor Business Plan competition by filling out the Entry Form, including the 500 word Business Summary.

Stage 3 – Formulate Executive Summary and Present Idea
The top fifteen entrants will proceed to the finale stage of the competition, where they will be required to submit a ten-page business plan and present their business idea to a panel of judges.

Stage 4 – Formulate Business Plan and Give Elevator Pitch
Five of the fifteen finalists will be selected to proceed to the Grand Finale stage of the competiton. Entrants will be required to resubmit their ten-page business plan (enabling them to take on board feedback provided by judges) and give a two-minute elevator pitch to a panel of industry professionals and invited guests at the E-Factor Grand Finale Event.

 


Stage 1: Idea Generation

At this stage of the competition you don’t necessarily have to have a business idea - you may just have the interest and desire to learn how to devise and present a business idea.

 

Why not attend the series of Enterprise Factor workshops to learn how to formulate and develop a business idea.

 

Stage 2: Apply

Once you have developed your business idea, complete the Entry Form and 500 word business summary to enter the competition.

Requirement: Submit Entry Form.


Stage 3: Formulate Executive Summary & Present Business Idea

If you are selected as one of the fifteen, you will invited to attend a series of seminars and get mentoring from an industry professional.

 

Using all the experience and learning to date, finalists will be required to submit an Executive Summary (no more than two pages), which will be judged by our panel of industry experts. Finalists will then be required to submit an electronic copy of their presentation and make a ten-minute presentation of their business idea to our panel of judges

 

Requirement: Submit Executive Summary & submit electronic copy of presentation and make ten minute presentation to the judging panel.


Stage 4: Sumit Business Plan & Give Elevator Pitch.

 

Five of the fifteen finalists will be selected to proceed to the Grand Finale stage of the competition. Here finalists will be given the opportunity to participate in an 'Investment Ready' workshop and receive mentoring from a Bank Manager. Finalists will be required to submit a business plan (no more than ten pages, excluding appendices). Finalists will also be required to deliver a two-minute elevator pitch to a panel of industry professionals and invited guests at the E-Factor Grand Finale Event.

All finalists and sponsors are invited to the Presentation Evening where the winner(s) will be announced.
